Cadets
Being an Air Cadets is one of greatest uses of your spare time in our opinion. You take part in activites you would not otherwise, you make lots of new friends, you learn loads of new skills that are useful in everyday life.
Whilst we have a very close link to the Royal Air Force, joining the Air Training Corps does not mean you have to join the military. What we teach our cadets can be applied to civilian and military life.
To join you must be between 12 and 18 years of age. That is the only requirement! Initially we ask you to contact us either via email, telephone or on our facebook page. From there we can then invite you to the squadron with your parents for a chat and then the sky really is the limit!

Adult Volunteers
Providing this fun packed programme all year round is not possible without the help of our Adult Volunteers. We all have regular full time jobs, and work as one team to run the squadron.
Our staff are mainly split into two catergories, Uniformed and Civilian Instructors. There are differences between the two but intially everyone has to become a Civilian Instructor.
You do not need any military background or any previous experience of being in cadets of any kind. We look for enthusiastic, hard working volunteers that are looking for a challenge.
